The Third Annual English Camp
Nine Children who live in the Guatemala City Dump spent two weeks with us in November. They spent their time in daily English classes, playing soccer, swimming, having camp fires, singing and doing devotions. They also participated in building a house for a widow lady who didn’t have a place to live. This was the second time that most of them had been to visit. The Potter’s House in Guatemala City is an organization that works with families from the City Dump. They use the English Camp as an incentive for students involved in the program. They are always a great group and we love having them come and stay.
PRAYER REQUESTS
Please pray a prayer of thanks for the many people who were kept safe during the floods and mudslides.
Pray for the people who are hurting and who have lost everything.
Please pray for continued financial support.
We have been praying for a girl friend for Ashton. She has had several boys to play with, but has missed having girl friends to spend time with. A girl, Ashton’s same age, just moved from California to Chichicastenango. Ashton is very excited.
A Big request. If you or someone you know has a four wheel drive car that you would like to donate and receive tax deductions, Matt and I could certainly use a car. Because of the mud and road conditions as well as living in the mountains, it is very difficult to get to the various locations without a good 4-wheel drive car.
Thank you to all of you who pray for us and support us.
We don’t take your prayers for granted and appreciate you greatly!
