SUMMER PHOTOS HOUSE PROJECT - These photos are from one of first construction projects we did this summer.  We found this family through a local church who contacted us about a large family in real need.  Three related families live together on a piece of land approximately  25 minutes walking distance away from town.  They have a single outlet for electricity and no running water or toilet facilities.  Below are the photos from the first house that was built.  One of the little girls, Juana, helped us for the entire project.  We later found out that she and her mom and brother would not be getting one of the new houses, because the other family members had decided not to give them a house.  Apparently Juana's mother is very physically abusive to the children and the other families don't want her around.  It broke our heart to see Juana so eager and willing to help and to know that she wouldn't get to sleep in one of the new houses.  Please keep the children in your prayers.

MISSIONARY HOUSE PROJECT PHOTOS -Each Sunday the missionary community comes together for church. We recently used the money that had been collected from weekly offering to build two houses.  One of the houses was for a older couple who lives with their children.  They live approximately a 25 minutes drive up a dirt mountain road at 9000 ft. elevation and then another 20 minute hike from the road.  The woman is 57 years old and suffers from severe Parkinson's disease.  Her husband cares for her 24 hours a day and carries her on his back.  The couple had been sleeping on boards in a shed no larger than 4x6.  A local church notified us of the couples need.  Members from that church body carried wet lumber up the mountain to the work site, in order for us to build them a home. As a missionary community we spent two Sundays building the homes.

FAMILY PHOTOS 2007- This summer was filled with Camp, Birthday's and our 13th wedding anniversary.    Bentley turned 7, Ashton 11, Leslie 37, Aynsley 6, and Matt 42.

GRACE COMMUNITY PROJECT PHOTOS 2007- Grace Community Church (Noblesville,  IN) returned for a week in July.  While here, they helped teach and lead singing in both the Onsite Bilingual School and the Colegio Cristiano.  As well, they built homes for 2 families.  The little girl in the photos was recently diagnosed with cancer.
